Before Using the Bedwetting Alarm
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and keep the enclosed documents in a safe place.
- Keep the packaging, product, and its components out of reach of children.
- Check the product is intact. DO NOT use if broken.
- Charge the Receiver and Urine Detection Sensor & Transmitter using the provided Charging/Storage Case and USB Cable.
- Always check the battery to ensure that the alarm is still working. This can be checked by inserting a damp cloth in the middle of the clip.
- Allow the child familiarise themselves with the product before using at night, so they are not frightened by the noise.

This product is not a therapeutic device. Do not use as a substitute for medical device.

- The Welcare Wireless Bedwetting Alarm is a non-professional appliance designed for private use.
Contraindications
Improper use may result in electrical interference, electric shock, burns, serious injury or death. The following are conditions for which the product must not be used.
This product must not be used in combination with the following devices:
- Active/electronic implanted medical devices (e.g. pacemaker)
- Life-support systems (e.g. ventilator)
- Implanted metallic devices (e.g. hip replacement)
- Electronic medical devices attached to the body (e.g. ECG machine)
Safety Warnings and Cautions
- This product is NOT intended for use by persons with limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or lacking experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received and understand the instructions/safety warnings for use of the product from this person in advance.
- Not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
- Keep the product and its components out of reach of children when not in use.
- Keep children away from the packaging material.
- DO NOT let children play with the product.
This product is equipped with the Lithium-ion battery. Failure to follow these instructions could cause the Lithium-ion battery to leak acid, become hot, explode, or ignite and cause injury and/or damage:
- DO NOT expose the product to temperatures over 50°C.
- DO NOT store, charge, or use the product in the following conditions: Near heating appliances or other sources of heat, direct sunlight or high temperature, in areas of very high humidity, dusty locations, near fire, flammable gas, chemicals or oxygen rich environments, locations easily subject to vibrations or shock, in a pressurized container, in high frequency or strong magnetic field areas – e.g. surgical equipment, MRI, CT or microwave ovens, or near oxidising or acidic materials.
- If battery leakage occurs and comes into contact with the skin or eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- The product is not supplied with a power adaptor. A DC 5V adaptor is required. Please check whether your adaptor meets the voltage requirements in your local area. The product must only be charged according to the power rating indicated.
- The product must only be charged with the supplied USB Charging Cable.
- DO NOT use the device while charging.
- Always dry your hands before plugging and unplugging the product to the power source.
- DO NOT use within 3m of a mobile device or a device that emits electromagnetic fields as this may cause interference with the functioning of the product.
- DO NOT immerse in water.
- DO NOT drop or put heavy objects on the product.
- DO NOT allow the product to come into contact with any sharp objects, as this could cause damage to the product.
- Clean the device before and after use with a soft dry cloth.
- DO NOT clean with solvents or harsh chemicals.
- If the product is not in use for an extended period, always unplug the power cord and charging plug to avoid fire or other hazards.
- DO NOT attempt to open or disassemble the product.
- DO NOT put the unit in direct sunlight or expose to extreme temperatures.
- This is a single-user product. Use by more than one person, may present a health risk.
