Gacet Paracetamol 250mg Suppositories are indicated for the temporary relief of pain and fever. Paracetamol suppositories are preferred for patients suffering from nausea or vomiting.
Directions
Tear suppository off strip, remove plastic and insert suppository.
Adults: 2-4 suppositories inserted in the rectum every four to six hours when required. Maximum 16 suppositories in 24 hours.
Children 6-12 years: 1-2 suppositories inserted in the rectum every four to six hours when required. Maximum 8 suppositories in 24 hours.
Children 2-6 years: 1 suppositories inserted in the rectum every four to six hours when required. Maximum 4 suppositories in 24 hours.
Not recommended in infants less than 2 years of age, except on the advice of a physician.

Warnings
Use strictly as directed. Prolonged or excessive use can be harmful. Keep to the recommended dose. Do not take orally.
Do not give or take with other products containing paracetamol, unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Children and adolescents: Do not give/take this medicine for longer than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Adults: Do not take this medicine for longer than a few days at a time unless advised by a healthcare professional.
If you think you may have given/taken too much paracetamol, or an overdose ring the Poisons Information Centre on 0800 764 766 or go to a hospital straightaway even if you feel well. The damaging effect on the liver can take time for your body to notice.
Store below 30°C. Protect from light.
