Absolute Essential Nutmeg oil is a stimulating, invigorating oil that can be used in response to nervous fatigue or to help activate the mind. It has a range of applications in aromatherapy which include supporting digestive process, healthy circulation and nerve balance, as well as being connected to healthy appetite and sexuality. It may also be especially useful as a response to deep muscular and skeletal pain. Blends well with: Peppermint and all Citrus. Adds a warm, spicy, powerful scent to a blend.
Aphrodisiac
Use the following blend in a bath as an aphrodisiac, suitable for both men and women: 1 drop Nutmeg, 2 drops Ginger, 2 drops Black Pepper , 3 drops Ylang Ylang, 1 drop Coriander, 2 drops Geranium.
Digestion
Nutmeg encourages healthy appetite (and may also be useful against intestinal parasites and infections). Use 2-3 drops in 5 ml Olive oil (organic) and massage onto abdomen in a clockwise direction before mealtimes.
Pain Relief
Assists natural calming of nerve activity and relaxation in muscle tension. May be especially welcome for deep seated muscular, skeletal and nervous pain. Apply topically in massage oil (3 drops to 1 tsp), works well blended with Peppermint.
Muscle Relaxant
Nutmeg oil supports deep relaxation in muscle tissue. Add 3 drops into a bath combined with 5 drops of Eucalyptus and 5 drops of Lavender True. Soak for 15 min before bedtime.

Safety
Avoid use during pregnancy. Very high doses may cause emotional imbalance and can induce hallucinations and convulsions. Avoid contact with eyes: flush with water. If ingested, drink milk. Keep out of reach of children.
