Topical antibiotic preparation for treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.
For ocular use. Do not wear contact lenses during ocular infections.
Directions for Use
For adults and children (2 years & over): Apply 1.5cm info lower eyelid of the affected eye(s) every 3 hours for up to 5 days or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or optometrist.
Eye Care and Conjunctivitis
Contains
10 mg/g (1%) Chloramphenicol.
Excipients: Paraffin liquid, Paraffin soft white.
Cautions
- To minimize contamination, do not allow the tip to contact the surface of the eye.
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age except on doctor or optometrist's advice.
- Continue treatment for at least 48 hours after the eye appears to be normal.
- Do not use for more than 5 days in total except on medical advice.
Store at or below 25°C.
